What is matcha? Matcha is a powder of crushed green tea leaves. Thus, matcha contains much more antioxidants than regular green tea (some studies claim up to 136 times more!).

Did you know that .. a matcha latte contains nearly as much caffeine as in a regular cup of coffee? The difference is that it also contains the amino acid L-theanine, which ensures increased concentration and even distribution of energy throughout the day, and no 'dips'. That explains why Japanese monks have been drinking matcha for over 1000 years before meditation ...

Tip: on the back of the package you'll get two recipes. One for a matcha latte, and one for a matcha smoothie bowl. Matcha can also be used in pancakes, baked goods, porridge, etc. Recommend starting with 0.5 teaspoons in quantity, and then finding out what you like best.
